How to Play PrizePicks Golf Props

What is PrizePicks?

PrizePicks is Daily Fantasy Sports simplified and, in their words, Daily Fantasy Made Easy. Best of all, the interface and interaction are far from intimidating. Accessible by desktop or app, simply open PrizePicks and you’ll see the sports and prop types at the top, players to take in the middle, and an “entry slip” on the right side where you select your parlay type, ‘over or under’ for each player and the amount you want to wager.

How Do I Join PrizePicks?

Joining PrizePicks is easy. All you have to do is visit the PrizePicks website and sign up using our code “BETSPERTS.” Connect your preferred method of payment and you will automatically receive a 100% deposit match of up to $100.

How to Set a PrizePicks Lineup:

  1. Navigate to your desired sport and stat
  2. Pick your players
  3. Select Over / Under the stat you chose
  4. Choose Flex Play or Power Play (see below)
  5. Enter your wager amount
  6. Click Place Entry to submit

It’s that easy! Although it’s DFS, remember that you’re not playing against your peers or a field of players; you’re playing against PrizePicks (and house money) and the lines they set.

What Are the Options to Bet at PrizePicks?

Users select between two to five players and take an Over / Under. There are two types of contests at PrizePicks: Power Play and Flex Play. You make multiple picks no matter your contest, but the payouts increase as accuracy becomes more difficult (via multiplied selections).

Flex Play

Flex Play offers smaller payouts if all of your plays hit but a payout nonetheless regardless if you happen to lose a few picks along the way. It’s more lenient but offers significantly less upside.

  • 2 Player Pick Contest – 0.5x payout for one correct prediction, 2x for two predictions
  • 3 Player Pick Contest – 1.5x payout for two correct predictions, 2.25x for three predictions
  • 4 Player Pick Contest  1.25x payout for three correct predictions, 5x for four predictions

Example: If you bet $10 on a two-player Flex Play, you’ll get $5 if you go 1-1, and $20 if you go 2-0.

Power Play

Power Play, on the other hand, requires you to hit all of your picks to win, leaving no room for error but extrapolating the payout for your risk.

  • 2 Player Pick Contests – 3x payout for two correct predictions
  • 3 Player Pick Contests – 5x payout for three correct pick predictions
  • 4 Player Pick Contests – 10x  payout for four correct predictions

Available Bet Types on PrizePicks

  • Player props. Player props swarm the lobby among PrizePicks’ games. PrizePicks sets daily Over / Under totals for players based on their sport for users to bet with/against.
  • Fantasy scoring. As a DFS game, PrizePicks offers a unique spin on fantasy betting. Instead of competing against other players on the app, users are betting on individual players to hit an over/under total in their total fantasy score for a particular game. Note that fantasy scoring is not available in every sports market.
