Why the best price is worth chasing

Golf outright prices carry a lot of juice. Add up every golfer’s implied chance at one book and you get far more than 100 percent. On Wednesday’s board it came to 46 percent over fair at Fanatics, 49 percent at FanDuel, and 57 percent at BetRivers. That extra is the book’s cut, and it is why taking a shorter number than you have to costs real money over a season.

No single book is the answer, either. Among the top 40, BetRivers had the best price on 23 golfers, FanDuel on 22, and Fanatics on 19, counting ties for each. BetRivers carried the biggest margin of the three and still had the best number most often. Books are wrong in different places, and the only way to catch it is to look.

The gaps get wide down the board. Chandler Phillips was +10000 at BetRivers and +6500 at FanDuel. On a 10-dollar bet, that is a 1,000-dollar win against a 650-dollar win for the same golfer doing the same thing. Seamus Power was +5500 at Fanatics and +3300 at BetRivers. The how to bet on golf guide covers the rest of the math, dead heats included.

How this table works

Golfers are listed in order of their typical price across the three books, so one book hanging an odd number cannot push somebody up the list. The price shown is the single best one, with every book that has it. Only books open to US bettors are included. Exchanges and offshore books are left out, and any price a book has not touched in two days is dropped, because a stale number is how a fake bargain shows up.

DraftKings had no winner prices in our odds feed when this table was built, so it is not part of this week’s comparison. The table refreshes every PGA Tour event week, and the time stamp above it tells you exactly how old it is. If a golfer pulls out before he tees off, check what happens to your bet when a player withdraws before you assume the money is gone.

Before they tee off, get your free access. New depositors at ReBet who add code BSG on a first 10 dollar purchase earn a 100 percent match up to 100 dollars and a free Betsperts Golf subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the favorite at the 2026 World Wide Technology Championship?

Ben Griffin. His best price was +1400 at Fanatics at 11:07 AM CT on Wednesday, November 4. Ryan Gerard was next at +1500 at FanDuel, with Ben James and Jackson Koivun at +1600.

Why are golf odds so different from book to book?

Each book sets its own prices and takes its own cut, and with 120 golfers on the board there is a lot of room to disagree. On this week’s board the three books’ winner markets ran 46 to 57 percent over fair, and one golfer’s best and worst prices were as far apart as +10000 and +6500.

How often is this page updated?

Every PGA Tour event week, once the books post their winner odds. Each table carries its own date and time, so you always know how fresh it is.
