2022 Charles Schwab Challenge DFS Strategy and Picks

The main question related to DFS this week seems to be how high Jordan Spieth’s ownership will get before teeing off on Thursday. I have him around the 25% area, but as more people dig into the numbers and realize how impeccable his course history has been at Colonial Country Club, his ownership should climb into the 30% range. Even though he was disappointing at the PGA Championship, his price at $10.4K is just too cheap.

Combined with all the values in the upper $6K and lower $7K range, playing two-high priced golfers is a very viable option this week, and is something I will be investing heavily in. The three players on top that I like the most this week are Collin Morikawa, Spieth, and the top player in this week’s model, Viktor Hovland. Also, with this being an Invitational field with only 120 golfers we can be more aggressive with some of our value picks as a higher percentage of players will make it through the cut. This makes a “Stars and Scrubs” approach even more viable.
