Wells Fargo Betting Recap: Betsperts Golf Team Hits 50/1 Winner with Max Homa

It was a BIG week for the Betsperts Golf crew thanks to Max Homa taking home the Wells Fargo Championship at TPC Potomac. Homa closed at +3600 to win outright when the action teed off on Thursday, but his odds were as high as +5000 on FanDuel early on in the week, and hovered around +4500 most of the week. Thanks to Max’s big win, Andy Molitor ended up +21.46 units for the Wells Fargo on his picks on Betsperts Golf and Ryan Noonan ended up +11.87 units. That’s good for a +33.33 unit weekend for Andy and Noonan combined!

As luck would have it, we’re running a Betsperts Golf promo this week: Sign up for a yearly membership to Betsperts Golf for $99.99, get a $100 Fanatics gift card! Basically giving you a free subscription PLUS outright winners and a whole lot more. As for the rest of Max Homa’s odds this week, he cashed his Top 5 at +850, Top 10 at +260 and Top 20 at +230.

  • Rory McIlroy was the favorite heading into this week’s tournament. He opened up at +750 to win outright and stayed around there until things got going on Thursday with Round 1. Despite a rough 2nd Round 73 on Friday, Rory rallied and ended up cashing his Top 5 odds at +180. He also hit his Top 10 number at -105 and Top 20 odds at -180.
  • Keegan Bradley entered the tournament with the 6th shortest odds to win outright at +3700 on FanDuel. Bradley was in really good shape teeing off on Sunday at -8 but stumbled a bit in the final round with a 2-over 72. Bradley still cashed his Top 5 (+1100), Top 10 (+550), and Top 20 (+200) odds for the tournament.
