Yeah, it’s 11:30 PM Eastern, but things happen and sometimes I get busy meeting my wife at an Applebee’s in the mall for a quick beer after she’s done some quick shopping for the kids in the window of time after she’s gotten off work but before she has to go pick them up from school, hypothetically. Either way, I did get around to betting the alternate event, and likely will be doing so all weekend.

It should be noted: I bet everything for the same amount, unless noted (and it won’t be noted very often.) I’ve come to believe two things:

1. Your stake should be based on how big of an edge you believe you have versus the offered price.
2. I don’t have a strong enough grasp differentiating the sizes of my edges in golf.

Until I do, I will be betting the same amount.

Fewer than I thought, but then again, it’s a bit of a wonky field and I don’t think I have complete enough data on some of these golfers to paint an accurate enough picture of where they finish.

These were going to be outright bets before I thought better of it and just took some top-20 prices. This means one of these men will likely win the whole shebang. There was a +3750 on Adam Svensson out there, just saying.

Additionally, I will place some small bets on all of Ron’s first round leaders, and I think you also should if you’d like to spice up your Thursday. He puts a lot of thought into the data he uses to find golfers who can overperform early on.
