Scottie Scheffler entered the Tour Championship with a two-stroke lead. He will enter the second round with a five-shot lead. Barring a total collapse, In my opinion, the only player capable of overtaking him is the man sitting in second place, Xander Schauffele (+600). Scheffler is such a complete player who looked sharp in every area on Thursday that it would be foolish in my opinion to back anyone other than him or Schauffele at this point.
